Snøoverflaten er fuktig/våt helt til topps.

Det er mildt i regionen, samt fravær av nattefrost og utstråling på grunn av overskyet vær.

Snøgrensen kryper stadig oppover. Det er store variasjoner i hvor snøgrensen ligger i regionen, alt fra 50 moh til 400 moh. Lavest i indre deler og nordvendte sider.

Avalanche risk assessment

Fravær av nattefrost setter fart på smeltingen. Høye temperaturer gjør snøoverflaten ustabil og naturlig utløste skred kan forekomme i bratte sider.

Det vil også være lett for en skiløper å løse ut våte skred i snøoverflaten. Vær varsom i bratt terreng.

Vær varsom i områder som er utsatt for glideskred.
